Charlotte Kienast graduated from Auburn University in 1979 with a Bachelor of Interior Design. Prior to establishing CDK Interior Design in 1990 Charlotte had over 10 years working for Architectural and Interior Design firms around the country.

In 1994 Cathy Boysen, a graduate of Interior Design from Western Washington University joined CDK Interior Design. Cathy has brought with her experience specializing in institutional and corporate design.

Both Charlotte and Cathy live with their families in the Pacific Northwest and are inspired by the surrounding beautiful natural environment they live in. Together they incorporate light, nature, texture, scale and color into their interiors to create unique and appropriate environments for each client.

Charlotte Kienast and Cathy Boysen have each achieved the LEED Green Associate professional credential. LEED is an internationally recognized green building certification system. LEED professionals are leaders in the green building movement and a resource for others seeking to achieve their sustainability goals.
